Hi everyone, looking for advice on starting out

Postby Massive Mouse » Thu Dec 17, 2009 1:34 pm

Hi all,

I'm 25 years old (or will be on Sunday) and have always been a bit on the chunky side throughout my life. There's been times when I was younger where I've lost a fair bit of weight only to put it all back on plus more. When I was at uni I lost a lot and went down to a size 10 in my trousers but now I'm a size 16.

About 3 years ago I tried so hard to lose weight, I managed to get to about 139lb and despite only being 5,2" I felt this was quite comfortable. Ideally I'd like to get back to being that weight but I've gone up to 176lb.

On Saturday night I was meant to be going out on a works night out but found that none of my clothes fitted me. I had a bit of a breakdown and didn't bother going out. My fella is feeling a bit hurt too as I don't like him touching or cuddling me as I feel self concious.

All this week I've been trying harder not to eat so much and not to eat badly. My downfalls are that I like carbs and eat loads of rice, pasta and bread sometimes late at night. Also I can easily eat a huge bag od crisps on my own so I've stopped buying things like that. I've also been trying to have my big meals for lunch rather than tea and just having soup or a roll in the evenings. I'm also making an effort to drink more water.

Oh well today so far I've had a small bowl of pasta with home made bolognase sauce (made with quorn mince) plus a tangerine. I decided to have that for lunch as I'm working 1-8 tonight and won't really have a chance to have much for my tea. I'll take a tin of soup to work and have that I think.

I'm not really sure where to start though, I'm sure I should really be planning some things to do or stick to a diet of sorts. At the moment I'm just trying to get used to not eating huge platefuls each meal. Before I would sometimes eat a full meal for lunch and tea and I realise I just can't do that any more. :(

Any advice would be great!

One of my friend was a chain smoker for past three years. His health condition has becoming more dangerous. I suggested him to go for hypnosis treatment from 9no links please) they guided him in a better way. They provide a good tips and the best treatments to cure from it. He followed their tips. He was completely recovered from smoking with that guidance.

Hey

It’s true that you do need a balanced lifestyle during your diet. There isn’t a miracle cure that sheds the weight while you sit and wait for it to happen. The healthiest way to lose weight is neither crash diets nor bursts of exercise. The body likes slow changes in terms of food and exercise.

If you're overweight, you can't continue with your current eating habits if you really want to lose weight. However it’s sometimes difficult for a person, especially someone starting off to find the right diet.

The same went for me. I wasn’t sure if I was eating the correct portions or if products where specifically designed with me in mind. Everybody knows there are hundreds of diets out there but each do their own things.

Take for example Lipotrim, Alli and Appesat. Each one is different in a way that one will provide you with nutrients, one will block fat intake and one suppresses your appetite.

It’s important that you’re on a healthy diet that’s right for you. I’ve experienced the products above and as good as they claim to be they weren’t exactly what I was looking for.

A friend then recommended Be-Yu. With a variety of healthy meals and total food replacement I found that I was able to enjoy the variety available and more importantly maintain my diet.

I’m still currently using the Be-Yu diet products. I personally replace two meals a day with high protein shakes, have a healthy evening meal and if peckish between meals have one of the chocolate bars.

There are no shortcuts to losing weight in a healthy and reasonable way but using Be-Yu and involving myself in regular exercise did the trick for me.

I hope this helps and good luck :D
