Need help

Postby mariel20 » Fri Oct 19, 2012 2:51 pm

Hi, im new on here.

I am trying to lose weight for my heath, i have tried all the usual weightloss pills, programmes and just about everything else there is availble.

I have been into Boots to see if they can help. they showed me 2 different products one called Tony Ferguson and the other was called slim something.

Has anyone heard of these or tried them? i would like a little bit of advice to help me.

Hi there,

I'm looking for people with weight loss issues who need help to take part in a taster tape (not for broadcast) with a weight loss and fitness expert who helps people lose significant amounts of weight healthily. I'm an Assistant Producer. Might you be interested in this at all? It would involve talking to this lady/expert and receiving advice.

If not no problem at all - i just noticed your post!

Hi a couple I have a couple of tips

first off you need to work out your maintenance calories. You can do this by using an online calorie counter or by simply multiplying your bodyweight in pounds by 15. This however varies from person to person! When you have your maintenance calories you should then subtract 500 from this number. This new value will be your new daily calorie needs. This defecit will provide you with a slow healthy drop in weight.

when eating foods avoid processed carbs such as white pasta and white bread, try and eat wholegrain carbs such as brown rice and wholegrain bread. This is a lot more healthy than the processed carbs.

You should also eat a range of lean meats such as chicken and fish.

Its best if you avoid foods such as chocolate and sweets an fatty foods like fast food and pizza (you know the foods I mean). Try and drink lots of water and avoid fizzy drinks such as coke.

One more tip is to exercise a few times a week, even if it's just going for a walk or jogging. You could even follow a program.

I always look at this website before buying any programs in weight loss -

My personal favourite program is the fat burning furnace this is because its well written and easy to understand , it also helped me a great deal with nutrition. A area where I think that many people find difficult.

It does still however require hard work and dedication the same with any program if you want to see decent results.

I hope this helps, remember results don't happen overnight! Don't give up!!
