Woring Out & not losing weight ?

Postby admin » Thu Jul 31, 2008 12:56 pm

You spend too much time in the gym.
Less hours, more results. Visit the gym three times a week for 20 minutes of high-intensity interval training will burn off 10% of your body fat, Try the Tabata workout.

Too much snacking.
Don't visit the gym cafe after a work out. "Have a protein-rich meal like a jacket potato and beans after your workout. Eating a protein-based diet burns 71 more calories a day than a low-protein one.

A little Light
A study in the US Obesity journal found that subjects' weight-loss efforts were boosted when they were subjected to bright light therapy. The light increased mood-boosting serotonin levels and helped them reduce food intake. So exercise by the window. If the weather's poor, try a light box.

Too much drink
We're not talking alcohol. "If you are training for weight loss, stick to water." if not an energy drink only.

Eating to fast
Men & women who chew their food without the aid of TV – chow down 201 less calories a day, according to a study at the University of Rhode Island, USA. That's because it takes 20 minutes for your brain to tell your stomach you've eaten enough.

I was spending lots of time in to gym, 5-6 days a week for a hour or so. Hard work without a lot of results. Determined to lose a little flab i cut out sugar from my diet, no more energy drinks and just water at the gym and starting taking things to increase my body's abilty to burn fat. I know it sounds strange but i heard taking apple cider vinegar would help so i bought a bottle. I read that you should take natural vinegar with something called the mother. I started by taking a shot of apple cider vinegar with meals and carried on with my exercsie programme. Three weeks later and i have finally managed to make a difference. Ok so the scales dont really say i have lots alot, just 2.5kg but my body looks better all round. i reccomend it to anyone and would love to see if it was the vinegar that does it! You can buy it from these guys mail order - doesnt taste amazing but works for loads of other things too

"Not to have control over the senses is like sailing in a rudderless ship, bound to break to pieces on coming in contact with the very first rock."

There are tones of healthy ways to loose weight. But it first must be understood that achieving anything,(not just weight loss) must come from within the person first!

"It must be understood, that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience!(Not the other way round) If one wants to acheive weight loss, one must first think about what it would be like and feel like to have already loss that weight!

I acheived this myself many years ago, and have met many others who have gone throught the same problems that i once had growing up as a kid!

I found this genius website for anyone whos interested in one of the very many top ways to help acheive weight loss! check out the link, it AWSome!!

take care

Woring Out not losing weight

everytime you go into the gym, you should be improving in weight somewhere, if you come in every time you lift and do the same weight you comfortable with and KNOW you can do, you will never improve. You have to try heavier weight and fail, it makes you strongere.
