Hello,

I am an athlete and have been preparing myself for a competition - my specialty is the 400 metres. I am a little overweight, which causes me to become tired around the 250m mark and drop off the pace. Are there any products that can help increase my stamina - legally? Your guidance is needed.

Hello,
Being an athlete it is very important for you to be fit for the competition, though taking any kind of medication to improve performance is often illegal.

Hi All

I have tried almost every diet you can imagine and have only found one way of dieting that didnt give me major side effects or have me craving for food and the weight stayed off! Have you heard of Suddenly Slim. Look at the website (no links please) you get good online advice, free diet plans from real people who have actually lost weight themselves. Suddenly slim is a diet supplement that stops hunger, gives you energy, increases metabolism and burns fat.

It really depends on what you mean by illegal, there is illegal in terms of the law and then there are supplements which are perfectly legal but banned by the IOC ie sida cordifolia and cetain performance enhancers. Then there are other performance enhancers such as caffeine and creatine, which are both law legal and ioc legal. IOC is the International Olympic Committee.

Hey,

Have you looked at spirulina? I read this about improving performance:

Apparently Cuban and Chinese athletes have been taking spirulina as a natural food supplement to improve their training and increase their stamina levels, and as it's natural it means it's legal!!!

Might be worth looking at? Good luck!
