i am not losing weight

I started dieting on an 800 calorie diet for 3-4 weeks, I've managed to lose 20 lbs (im now 201-203 lbs from 224)
I gained 80lbs from depression/anxiety in 1 year (yes, i know.)
I drink diet soda and reset my 800 calories at 6 PM every day never going over that limit
I checked myself in the scale yesterday and I weighed 200.96 pounds, now today I weigh 203 pounds. The first week I lost 10 lbs and 3 the following 2-3 weeks. (the problem is i am not losing weight)
I need to lose this weight.
pls help me

It happened to me too. Whenever I used to go on a diet I was feeling highly stressed, mainly because of the dietary restrictions.

Stress can help fat storage through release of cortisol.

Calm down (yes, I know it is the most difficult thing to do, but trust me, you're only making matters worst).

Plus your caloric intake is too low and this can potentially put your body in starvation mode.

Some side effect of 800 calorie diet

Many people on a very low-calorie diet for four to 16 weeks report minor side effects such as fatigue, constipation, nausea, and diarrhea, but these conditions usually improve within a few weeks and rarely prevent people from completing the program.

Your metabolism might be slowing down and cause your weight to a standstill. You can get some food which will help you to increase your metabolism.

I am a bit on the overweight side at 56" and 186lbs. I really want to loose about 10 to 20 lbs before conceiving but it is definitely not a deal breaker. I weighed the same when I got pregnant with my 13 month old.
Does anyone know if losing weight will effect your bbt temps?

you have good diet calories but still not losing weight i recommend you, you have need to do proper exercise because when you doing exercise then your extra fats burn.

Hi there,

You bodies have gone in to shock where they are storing the food you eat as fat and burning your muscle tissue, you should be eating a minimum of 1200 calories a day and burning an additional 200 cals in exercise ( 40 min walk)
The 800 cal diet may show result for a few weeks / months but eventually you will show signs of malnutrition, eg, hair loss, fatigue. its not healthy

I'm not preaching, i have been there and tried every diet going and the only thing that help me lose weigh was diet and exercise.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties and I hope I can help.

I once saw a profile of myself in a photo someone took and I was appalled into action.
1. I cut my fat content down but did not cut it out and I made sure I was satisfied.
(if you starve yourself you will only binge later and put more weight on)
2. Chocolate was a little bit of a problem with me but I made the conscious effort not to snack on it but made sure I had a banana with me, just to take the edge off until I could eat properly.
3. I, and I speak purely personally, do not like anything with unnatural products in them, I can't stand the taste, I go for proper sugar etc...every time.
4. Take all the fat off your meat, you will still get the same flavor from what ever oil you use anyway.
5. Exercise....diets don't work on their own.
6. Make a schedule, a plan. Put it on paper, it really makes a difference and order is very good for us.
7. Be patient, results happen quick at first, then slow down but within a few months you'll be happy with yourself.

I hope all this advice helps, it certainly transformed my life.

Dear friend don't be frustrated about weight loss too much , Try to maintain your diet planing and add to take green tea without sugar then after some week you will see changes in your weight ...

[*]Fist of all stop eating junk food. eat only organic food and skip your meal once in a week.
add some physical activity in your daily routine like cycling, running, skipping and yoga
Drink lots of water as much as you can
