Effective ways to lose weight

Postby Waaz » Sun Dec 27, 2009 3:14 pm

I found the following website (no links please) provides information on why you may not be losing weight, because for each person there will be a different reason, and then provides effective solutions to combat this. This includes diets, exercise and alternative methods

There are many effective ways to lose weight, though I do believe the starting point is with yourself. Many people have different reasons why they are not losing weight which is true, but another truth is that you are eating more than you burn off every day and that is why you are not losing the weight you want to.

I am a hypnotherapist and specialise in weight loss and believe, When thinking about losing weight we will need to look at the habits we currently have and the new habits we need to ingrain when going on a diet, when we take foods out of the diet this will lead to withdrawal and cravings. My biggest tip is to work on you habits and controlling your cravings.

As far as I know if you are really over weighted and in spite diets and detox programs, gymnastics , the most long-term effective ways to loose a high amount of kilos is lap band surgery and gastric sleeve which narrows your stomach so that you will loose enough appetite...It is true that you have to undergo a surgery, but in the and you will become not only thin person, but also healthy one...

Hello all,
I can help in weight loss. Let me put it straight it here.. I am an independent distributor of Herbalife products. I can guarantee that these foods work and it also comes with a 30 day money back guarantee. But I dont wanna do the marketing stuff. Check the herbalife website and google it for reviews. I am not selling a product I dont believe in. If you are convinced with the reviews of people who have used it, please get back to me and I can put you through the program.

But first I would like to explain one thing. Please try to understand this. Every individual's body is different. Some people never get fat no matter how much they eat. Some get fat fast and lose it fast too ( I'm of this kind). Some get fat fast but dont lose it at all (My sister). For those who have went well into overweight, certain biological changes happen and you have to understand that. The very reason why some people gain weight soon is because their metabolism has slowed down and is not digesting fats. It is easy to lose weight when the weight is on the rise than after it has settled at a top value. For example, a person whose healthy weight is 60, if goes up to 68, can lose it easily. But cant if it goes well above 75. The reason is that the metabolism has changed really badly and it takes a lot of effort to pull the metabolism back to normal level. And this duration that is needed to pull it back to normal too varies with individual. When you take those shakes, you are not actually pacing up your metablolism for normal food, but the metabolism is paced up gradually and fat intake reduced which causes the weight loss. So when you stop it and take normal food, your metabolism isnt ready for normal food and hence your weight gain. But if u wanna maintain normal weight even after stopping the shakes or whatever they are, you must keep jogging and excercising and keep your fat intake low. Its a slow process and only after your metabolism is back at its best (which you will know by the very high energetic feeling), you can start ur normal food. So whichever program you take, please understand these things. no program is a magic program. They all only assist in making the process easier. YOU ARE THE MAIN INGREDIENT IN THE PROGRAM. Hope it helps.

Thanks,
Nas872010 (I'm a researcher at Univ of Sheffield - if u r interested in herbalife, contact me at 07999530349).

Alright guys,
Just thought i'd share my thoughts here. Primarily, i have found the best ways of losing weight and keeping weight off is by mixing up my exercises patterns and exercises alltogether.
I go to the gym quite a lot and have found weight lifting (lots of reps) to be the best way for me to keep excess fat off. Clearly we all no that the more muscle we have the more calories we are able to burn when we are and aren't exercising. Furthermore, if you include a variety of cardiovascular activities in with weight lifting, this keeps your body guessing and not getting used to any sought of exercise.
Obviously a lot of us don't have the time to fit in a lot of exercise activities due to work commitments etc. Below is an example of my weekly routine which I can mix up exercise orders every couple of weeks.

Monday - Cycle to and back from work and do a few weights at home in evening
Tuesday - Go for a run in morining b4 work (early):( and then few weights at home in evening
Wednesday - Day off
Thursday - Go for run after work and do a few weights
Friday - Go for cycle b4 work and play game of tennis/squash/5aside in evening
Saturday - Look to go to the gym to do full body workout includes weights and cardio
Sunday - Day Off

This is just an example of mixing up routines which brings the freshness to your mind when exercising.

If your interested in multiple workout routines for all different purposes then feel free to check out my website which contains free fitness e-books.

Cheers,

Mark
