I need a weight loss plan to lose 220 lbs. I can't just buy low-fat food and wait for it to add up, this is different from trying to lose 10-20 lbs. I've had one of those lap-band procedures 2 months ago but it's not really helping because of some complications. I don't mind trying extreme weight loss techniques, but nothing seems to work.

I tried:
1. Dieting (too slow, I reach a plateau very quickly)
2. Swimming (lost 39 lbs in 2 and a half months, then I reached a plateau)
3. Starving (11 lbs then i stopped losing weight again)
4. The procedure (about 1 lb a month, it'll take me 18 years)

What else can I do??

The most effective tip recorded so far is healthy diet. Apart from losing their weight, men who choose to go for healthier diet usually have no hard time trying to maintain healthy body weight! Foods that are rich in carbohydrates, fats and refined sugars should be replaced with vegetables, fruits and a lot of water.

Hi lisa…. Only diet and working outs can help us in our weight loss journey. Take 1200 calories per a day, don’t take whole plate at a time divide it in to small portions.
Consume more negative calorie foods like apple, pineapple, strawberries, raspberries, papaya, cauliflower, cabbage, carrot, cucumber, garlic, broccoli, spinach, radish etc.
While chewing and digesting, these foods are taking more calories actually what they had given to us.
Drink more and more water and avoid sodas.
Stop visiting the fast food restaurants, just prefer homemade foods.
In addition to this you can go take green tea/coffee 2 times in day.
Do cardio 4-5 times in a week.
Please stick this tips, definitely you will found weight reduction in first 10-15 days.
Good Luck.

Nice suggestion but cutting junk foods from your diet will at first help you lose weight, but as time progresses it will make you feel deprived and eventually you lead to start eating them. So take 70 percent of the calories by eating a healthy diet, and remaining 30 percent you can take by fast food you love to eat, but occasionally.
