Weight loss advice

Postby amyj606 » Wed Sep 22, 2010 6:34 pm

Hi,

I want to drop a jean size and loose 2 inches off my hips and have been sticking to a exercise plan for four weeks now and I don't seem to be seeing any results. :(

I walk to work and back every day and do high intensity training on the cross trainer twice a week, i incorporate weights into this. I also do wii fit twice a week.

What else could I do and what is a good amount of weight to lose per week and any hints and tips keeping it off

It all depends on the food you eat, what time you eat it, are you over training there is lots to consider.

Have you been to see your G.P about weight loss and had blood tests???

There are definitely innumerable sites which can give you great advice on weight loss and it is worth your while to research as many of these sites as you possibly can.

Weight loss is a problem for many people, but it's not impossible to lose weight if you follow a program which gives good weight loss advice. ;)

Hi Amyj,

I hope you've seen some results since you first posted this and well done for taking action.

The best method for losing weight is one that is sustainable. Yo-yo dieting can do more damage than good.

The best way I found was at first to make small manageable changes to my daily behaviour which 'forced' me to lose weight, almost as a by product.

The first thing I did was to increase my water intake. It filled me up, and stopped my body from storing excess water.

I also got some smaller plates. It reduced the serving size at each meal and helped me eat less.

I didn't skip meals and certainly didn't skip breakfast. This is the most important meal of the day and kick starts your metabolism. For breakfast I sometimes ate mellon (vitamin filled) and protein rich eggs. (The eggs even break down the mellon's carbs!)

I hope this helps!

Jack

Exercise helps always but not as quick. You have to keep patience.
Make proper diet plan, avoid fatty food,
Drink water at least 7 to 8 litres.
