I need a weight loss program

Hi all, I am 28 yrs. old, 5'9" and I weigh 14 st. I’ve recently become concerned with my weight due to the constant nagging I get at home. Apparently, I eat too much... to figure out where I’m going wrong. I would like to lose weight or at the very least stop gaining it. I would really appreciate any advice on a weight loss program please !!!

According to one of my friend I’m supposed to be consuming about 2000-2600 calories per day to maintain my weight. Since I’ve been recording my daily food intake I’ve come to see that without watching what I eat or dieting I only take in a max. Of 1600 calories a day.

My diet is not very varied and primarily consists of tomatoes, cucumber, cream cheese, various fruits and other veggies and olive or sunflower oil which I use as salad dressing. I do not drink milk (ever), rarely eat eggs or meat and indulge in fast food, chocolate, pop, or chips maybe once a month if that. I don't drink very much water either (I know that's bad:cry: but I have been trying)

I do not drive so naturally I spend a lot of time walking. I have been working as an administrator for about 5yrs now and thus spend at least 6 Hrs a day sitting. I’ve been trying to go to the gym, ride my bike, or go for evening walks 3-5 times a day for the past 3 months.

This is all of the information I can think of that may be relevant. What should I be doing? Please help :oops: !!!

You sound like you have a pretty good diet.

It all depends how much and also times your eating through out the day.
You should eat about five meals a day but only small ones.

BREAKFAST 7:00 AM
2 hard-boiled eggs
1 small tub of plan yoghurt
250ml of orange juice
A study in the Journal of Nutrition found that having protein with your first meal of the day helps keep your appetite under control for the rest of the day.

SNACK 10:00 AM
250ml water
1 piece of fruit
1 oat cereal bar
Oats and fruit are low GI foods. This means they're rich in fibre, which keeps you feeling fuller for longer.

LUNCH 12:00 PM
250ml water
2 slices wholewheat bread
120g of sliced turkey or chicken
2 pieces lettuce
2 slices of tomato
1 oat cereal bar
1 piece of fruit
Turkey is one of the leanest sources of protein. Combined with the fibre in the rest of the sandwich, it helps to build muscle and lose weight.

SNACK 4:00PM
250ml water
1 piece of fruit
Small meals like this throughout the day will keep your body working constantly and your metabolism high.

DINNER 8:00 PM
250g fish, chicken or pork chops
125g steamed sweetcorn and broccoli
100g brown rice
250ml Lipton ice tea
This meal is high in protein, plus the antioxidants your body needs to recover from exercise.

SNACK 11:00 PM
1 slice of apple pie
Apple pie is one of the least processed deserts making it nutritious yet sweet enough to squash his sugar cravings.

Hello! Well you have done a lot for your body. But you should try some new idea. There is a free weight loss video series program giving a new technique for overcoming weighing problems. Video program of Michael Molloy at (no links please). I think trying something new can help you a lot.

Weight loss program that i've tried and it actually works!

Basically having a good diet and to be able to persevere through out the diet. On top of that a good exercise regime must be followed through out to have a healthy amount of weight loss through natural means for "burning fats".All the best! Determination is the key to everything, dont give up!
